Karen joined Isaacson, Miller in 2014 and transitioned into the recruiting role in 2016, she has worked in the firm’s higher education and environmental and sustainability practices. Her recent searches include recruitment of deans, provosts, executive directors, and presidents and clients include Stanford University, Cornell University, New York University, Union College, Ecological Society of America, Open Space Institute and Natural Lands. Clients appreciate Karen’s commitment to building robust and diverse pools of candidates, as well as her background in higher education which informs her work. Prior to joining the firm, Karen supported executive-level searches at Harvard Medical School’s office of the executive dean for administration and worked with the Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus to increase the number of women participating in the political process throughout Massachusetts.
