Prior to founding TRANSEARCH in Malaysia in 1992, Wendy Lau worked as a Consultant with the American search firm, Boyden International in Kuala Lumpur. Wendy spent her early years with Multicore Solders, a British - Malaysian joint venture solder and flux manufacturing company as Marketing Manager for the Asean region. Whilst she is very familiar with the manufacturing sector, she has also worked with clients in most industries including consumer goods, financial services, information technology, construction, building materials and energy and natural resources. Over the years, she has acquired significant search experience after completing searches for senior management positions in a wide spectrum of industries. She has a Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Detroit, Michigan, USA. She is based in Kuala Lumpur.
