Michael Thorpe

I have been working at Wallace Hind since 2015 and was recently given the chance to become a Director in 2021. Having cultivated the ongoing partnership with BASA, I do lots of my recruitment work in the chemical, adhesive and raw material markets but still branch out into commercial recruitment across many industries and often recruit into Finance and Procurement which is where I spent the first half of my career.

I enjoy the core principles of business; in recruitment you get to “look behind the curtain” or “kick the tyres” of many different companies in many different industries… it really is incredibly varied from one day to the next.
