Biography
Winfred Voordendag is an experienced cultural entrepreneur with an extensive background in the performing arts, museums and media. Since June 2021, he has been working as an independent consultant and interim manager, where he supports organizations in the field of strategy, policy and talent development. At Colourful People he is a senior partner with a very extensive portfolio of assignments in the public sector and the broad arts sector, from theaters, stages and companies, to museums, libraries and trade associations. With his curious eye and almost endless network, he quickly gets to the point and never stops until the most suitable candidate has been found and appointed.
Winfred has previously held management roles at leading institutions such as Toneelgroep Amsterdam, Festival Operadagen Rotterdam, the Kröller-Müller Museum and BNNVARA. His broad experience in both the arts and culture sector and the media sector enables him to quickly establish connections, identify and recruit suitable candidates and to take an active role as an organizational advisor. As interim business director, Winfred currently works for the Maas Theater and Dance, and previously he was business director at the Dutch Dance Days, Theater aan de Rijn in Arnhem and Korzo in The Hague. He is also active as an advisor in various cultural committees and as a coach for young business leaders.
