Since joining Isaacson, Miller in 2011, Amy has served clients in healthcare, higher education, social justice, and education advocacy. She has recruited deans, associate deans, CEOs, and presidents in the health sciences, as well as leaders for healthcare boards and associations. In addition to her work in the health sciences, she has completed searches for public and private university clients, youth-focused nonprofits, and humanitarian organizations. More than two-thirds of her placements have been women and/or from underrepresented groups. Earlier in her career, Amy was a program officer at the DC Children and Youth Investment Trust Corporation. There, she worked with local nonprofit providers, city agencies, and public schools to expand and improve services and opportunities for children, youth, and their families. She previously directed national recruitment campaigns at Teach For America. Amy's experience has supported her belief that the nonprofit sector has the power to transform society. She also has seen that the right leader at the right time can have an enormous impact on an organization and its ability to advance its mission.
