Previously, Harco held senior leadership and board roles at global staffing firms, including Managing Director of Badenoch & Clark (Adecco Group) and Managing Director Europe at Acre, where he led sustainability-focused recruitment across the continent. Harco has built and scaled search businesses across Europe and has successfully delivered on hundreds of leadership assignments for mission-driven organisations navigating complex change. He brings deep insight into the leadership challenges of the sustainability transition and is uniquely positioned to advise on talent strategies that drive impact and long-term value. A certified Climate Reality Leader trained by Al Gore, Harco combines corporate expertise with a personal commitment to environmental and social progress. Harco holds an MBA in Corporate Social Responsibility, having graduated from the renowned Henley Management College (Henley-on-Thames, part of Reading University). Having lived most of his life outside his home country, Harco now lives in central Amsterdam. He is Dutch-Indonesian, and fluent in Dutch, English and German. Harco is married, has two daughters, and when not with his family, this self-acclaimed “plant-based-diet triathlete” spends most of his free time in the water, on his bike or running through the capital’s parks.
