After beginning his literary studies in Hypokhâgne, Xavier Tandonnet studied Private Business Law and Political Science (Toulouse), supplemented by a postgraduate degree in HR. After an initial career in the Marine Troops (five years) as a section leader and then as a legal officer, Xavier joined an English recruitment firm in 2000, where he worked for four years in HR profiles. In 2004, he co-founded aperlead, led the HR practice and managed the General Management & Finance, Industry & Purchasing and Sales & Marketing departments, while his partner developed the Tax & Legal activity. In 2009, his partner moved on and Xavier then led the entire team, while working operationally within the practice dedicated to the HR function. Since 2017, he has also been rolling out a new Transition Management offer under the aperlead transition brand. Xavier was a lecturer at Sciences Po Paris (2012 to 2016). He is a member of several circles (NCU, CUI, SAR), professional associations (ANDRH) and a Think Tank. In 2016, he joined the ethics committee of Syntec Conseil en Recrutement. Since 2021, he has been a director of Syntec conseil and since January 2023, a judge at the Paris industrial tribunal, management section. He enjoys reading, maintaining green spaces, hunting, sailing, running, tennis and rugby.
