Pınar Ateş, M.D., graduated from the Hacettepe University School of Medicine and holds a Medical degree. Prior to joining Amrop, she worked for an international pharmaceutical company for 13 years and was the company's Medical and Marketing Director in Turkey for the last 5 years. She has 20 years' experience in the Life Sciences arena in international and local pharmaceutical companies. Previously she worked in Houston Texas in a Heart Transplant Unit following her graduation. She also served as a medical advisor for Futures Group in collaboration with the Family Health and Planning Foundation of Turkey (TAPV). She has been a Partner with Amrop Turkey since 2011. Although Pınar has longstanding experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, her consulting focus lies in strategy consulting, highlighting family-owned Businesses related to Industrial and Services sectors. She conducts senior level searches for a broad spectrum of international and prestigious local holding companies as well as Large Managed Care Organizations. She works with the boards of large organizations to recruit and assess Managing Directors and functional heads for both line and staff positions. Pınar has been trained in coaching and mentoring in France during her commercial practice and has coached many young professionals in their career and self-development. She is a member of PWN Turkey (European Professional Women's Network) and is a volunteer Mentor of the organization. Pınar is an active Core Group member of Amrop's global Life Sciences Practice, and is responsible for the marketing activities of the Practice.
