Gail is the Managing Director and founder of PER, setting up the business in the late 1990s after a career in private equity at 3i.

As well as running PER, she is a passionate member of the private equity community and actively involved in developments that shape the sector. These currently range from the evolution of effective compensation strategies to diversity and inclusion, ESG and mental health.

Gail has a deep network across the private equity industry in the UK and internationally, and shares her knowledge and insight through conferences, articles and in every interaction with the people she meets.

Away from work, Gail focuses her attention on family matters. She’s an enthusiastic cook and an energetic hiker getting the most she can from the great outdoors.
