I was a recruiter in my hometown of London, before moving to NZ in 1999 and working for a few of the bigger Accounting recruitment firms. In 2007 my entire team decided to leave and start up our own recruitment company. It was going to be called FIRST Recruitment! But due to a bit of a muck up and Robbie misreading my writing we became FIND Recruitment! Which is way better imo! I still love the art of finding outstanding people, most of whom are in roles and not actively looking to move...until a great opportunity comes knocking! A top tip I'd like to share is don't rush into accepting a new role if it's not amazing, take your time to find the right thing. They say the early bird catches the worm, but also remember it is the second mouse that gets the cheese.
