Biography
Kate’s first hand industry experience and extensive expertise in both publicly listed and private capital markets uniquely positions her to identify and secure the best talent for sustainability roles. As Partner and Head of Redgrave’s Sustainability Practice, Kate leverages her deep understanding of market complexities to achieve outstanding results. She partners with clients across the private capital landscape—including private equity, private credit, infrastructure, early-stage venture investors, asset management firms – working with funds and portfolio companies—to build high-calibre teams and enhance internal sustainability functions. Kate specialises in recruiting sustainability generalists and technical specialists in climate, decarbonisation, nature and biodiversity. She provides strategic guidance to help clients develop and enhance their sustainability initiatives, ensuring they effectively achieve their sustainability objectives. Before joining Redgrave, Kate led the ESG and sustainability practice at a specialist search firm focused on private capital markets. However, her career began in investor relations, where she was pivotal in developing a Responsible Investment (RI) strategy for a prominent investment firm, contributing to its early commitment to the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI). With over two decades of experience in private equity, Kate also held roles as an Investor Relations Manager, responsible for fundraising and managing a global network of investors. Kate is an alumnus of the Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership (CISL). Outside of her professional life, she is passionate about running, music, reading and cooking.
