Prior to becoming a Search Consultant, Ian spent over twenty-five years in the retail industry with American and Canadian companies. He has held senior management positions within a variety of capacities to include: merchandising, business development / strategy, marketing, store operations and franchisee relations. Most recently, Ian worked with Canadian Tire Corporation both corporately and as a franchise holder. He is noted for having hired, trained and developed a pipeline of talent for the organization as well as for vetting prospective Franchisees. Ian has also worked as a Marketing Consultant representing various clients with market intelligence projects in the US and Europe. Ian has been a Search Consultant for 20+ years, placing executive talent in financial services, retail, manufacturing, e- commerce, information technology and internet related business sectors. In addition to managing client mandates, Ian manages the Canadian offices operations and finances.
