Joel Black is a Senior Consultant based in Ottawa. He specializes in senior leadership searches across a broad range of industries and functions across Canada.

Prior to joining Odgers Berndtson, Joel was a management consultant within the People Advisory Services practice of a global professional services firm, where he focused on HR transformation, organizational design, and change management. Joel was previously an Associate at another global leadership advisory firm, placing leadership and C-Suite executives.

Joel holds an Honours Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Organizational Studies from Nipissing University. He volunteers as Program Manager for Start Proud’s LGBTQIA2+ Mentorship Program, which promotes diversity and inclusiveness within the Canadian business landscape.
