Ulf Genzel is the managing partner of contagi MEDIA + IT GmbH. After training as a video engineer and starting his career at RIAS-TV in Berlin in the late 1980s, he switched to the private broadcaster SAT.1 in 1990. There he took on managerial positions in the areas of production, broadcasting, technical planning and training and further education. In 1999, Ulf Genzel founded a consulting company in the field of broadcast IT. At the beginning of 2007, Ulf Genzel, as a partner, took over the duties of the Management Board member responsible for sales at Blue Order Solutions AG, which he and his partners sold to the American Avid Corporation in 2010. As a result, he worked as an independent management and personnel consultant for companies in the media and information technology sectors until the end of 2019. Since the beginning of 2020 he has been involved with contagi with the following areas of expertise: Personnel consulting, strategic personnel development and direct search (executive search) from "rare to find experts" to managers. Ulf Genzel is married, has two adult children and lives in Rheinhessen. In his spare time he likes to devote himself to classic motorcycles and electromobility.
