Jennifer Padovani is a senior recruiter in the financial services industry. She brings a vast breadth of experience in all areas of financial services. Having worked in the industry for over twenty years, she has extensive relationships with top tier investment banks, hedge funds and various alternative investment platforms. Before joining DMC, Jennifer spent nearly her entire career at Goldman Sachs. Jennifer began at GS in 1995 as a member of the Investment Banking group. She joined the Equity Derivatives team in 1997 and was responsible for managing the hedge fund effort until 2007. Subsequently, Jennifer joined the Hedge Fund Industry Group, a joint hedge fund coverage and strategic advisory effort within Investment Banking and the Securities Division for equity, multi-strat and credit hedge funds. Her responsibilities included LP capital raising, management company transactions, private security distribution and Founder/CEO coverage for the firm’s top hedge fund clients. Jennifer was named Managing Director in 2005 and retired from Goldman Sachs in 2015. Subsequent to leaving Goldman, Jennifer has had a successful second career in the executive recruiting industry fulfilling many mandates for both buy-side and sell-side clients. Her mandates have encompassed equities, derivatives, credit, macro and C-Suite roles. Jennifer’s deep industry knowledge, extensive network and experience with the banking and hedge fund communities, make her uniquely positioned to find the right candidates for financial services roles. An active competitor on the USEF/USHJA Hunter/Jumper horse show circuit, Jennifer has won top awards at major events. In addition, Jennifer was a leader of the original capital campaign committee for Friends of the High Line and was the honoree in 2011; she also served as the Gala Sales Chair for 100 Women in Hedge Funds raising a record amount for NYU Langone at the time.
