Oliver Torster is a seasoned IT industry veteran. During his many years of operational experience at IBM, Tech Data, and Tektronix, he held numerous national and international management positions as a sales and marketing manager responsible for the marketing of high-tech products and IT solutions, as well as for service and support. His work at TechData focused on establishing and expanding new market segments. A particular milestone at Tektronix was achieving market leadership in the DACH region against well-known competitors. In 2000, he moved into HR consulting and initially accepted Heidrick & Struggles' offer to further expand the technology practice as a partner. Since 2003, he has been a founder and partner at Jack Russell Consulting - AltoPartners Germany. He is distinguished by his pragmatic problem-solving skills, his intensive and reliable market contacts, and his analytical abilities.
