Roland has made high-profile placements at the board level and throughout the C-suite within the portfolios of some of the world’s top investors and across a wide range of technologies and business models in Bio (Agtech, Foodtech, Sustainability and Medtech/Biotech) and Tech (AI/ML/Data Science, Transportation/Mobility, IoT/Cyber, Smart Cities/Buildings, Robotics and Energy). Earlier in his career, Roland co-founded SSG Solutions, a boutique IT consulting firm specializing in technology consulting services and senior-level technology placements. He also spent nine years at IBM in various technical and leadership capacities, from application developer and project leader to project manager and senior consultant. Roland was one of IBM’s first consultants to participate in external outsourcing engagements and one of its first SAP developers.
