Norbert Müller is an accomplished senior executive and technical expert in process optimization, turnaround management, restructuring, and operational and strategic realignment. He has held highly successful leadership positions, including managing director, at international corporations and medium-sized companies in various sectors—for example, the pulp & paper, consumer goods, and building materials industries. Mr. Müller has regularly taken over companies or divisions in crisis situations and subsequently led them to profitable growth. As an experienced Senior Director and Managing Director, Mr. Müller managed locations in North America and Europe. He led up to 1,050 employees and significantly increased both productivity and operating profit through operational excellence methods, cost-cutting programs, and the introduction of automation and digitalization. As part of M&A projects, he was responsible for the implementation of due diligence processes and the successful post-merger integration of several plants. These projects included both operational and organizational-technical harmonization. Mr. Müller's focus is on sustainable corporate growth through process and product portfolio optimization, operating model adjustments, and targeted investments along the entire value chain. His strong customer focus, conceptual strength, hands-on mentality, and leadership skills are what particularly distinguish him. Mr. Müller studied electrical engineering at the Helmut Schmidt University in Hamburg. He has regularly continued his education in the areas of leadership and organization, business administration, change management, and business excellence. Mr. Müller enjoys private travel and regularly exercises to stay physically fit. He is particularly interested in the application of AI tools. Since June 2025 he has been a partner at F&P Executive Solutions AG.
