She has valuable experience of building up profitable businesses. Since 2003, she has challenged and advised owners and executives in companies undergoing periods of growth, merger or transformation on selecting suitable organisational structures and compositions for boards and management groups. She has assessed, recommended and motivated senior executives and young management talent in both the private and public sector in fields such as media, culture, finance, research, transport, industry, building, construction and mariculture. All this has acquired her an extensive network, a sector-neutral perspective and a unique insight into what it takes to succeed as an executive, regardless of sector, age, cultural background or gender.​ Hege’s commitment to technology and start-up companies is evidenced by her membership of the Worktube board. In her private life, she’s in her element on mountain walks or at concerts.​
