dr Sharon O'Byrne, (MB Bch BAO, MRCPI, MSc, MD) is a Physician with extensive clinical experience specializing in clinical pharmacology. She has 17 years of experience, in senior executive positions , in the biotechnology industry, in clinical drug development in companies such as; Genentech Inc. South San Francisco, Takeda International Pharmaceuticals Zurich and Calico LifeSciences LLC South San Francisco. She led drug development teams, from exploratory clinical drug development, in close collaboration with basic research, through to post-marketing, across a range of disease areas. Her drug development experience has included overseeing global drug development programs in collaboration with global regulatory agencies for innovative clinical drug development programs in parallel with diagnostic development.
