Biography
After graduating in European Studies at The Hague University of Applied Sciences and Glasgow Caledonian University, Annelien started her career in the temporary employment sector. As an intermediary she gained experience in recruiting candidates for administrative and secretarial positions. After learning the tricks of the trade, Annelien made the switch to an organization that mediates interim managers for financial and business service providers. In 2010 she was asked to set up Whyz Executive Search together with three colleagues. Over the years, Annelien has developed into an experienced search consultant who mainly focuses on board, board, management and supervisory board positions.
Together with Whyz's partners, Annelien uses her specific market knowledge and extensive network to look for qualified and interested candidates. Candidates who may aspire to a new or different career, but are not yet sufficiently aware of it. By outlining the possibilities with strong arguments, people often appear to be open to change. Knowledge of people, genuine interest and business persuasion characterize Annelien. Her objective is to create a win-win situation for both candidate and client.
