Biography
Brent Mundt has held leadership positions at five national associations, primarily in the education and cultural arts arenas. He specializes in fund development and board relations. At the National Association of College and University Business Officers Association (NACUBO) he led quantum growth in non-dues revenue as well as forged a very successful collaboration with the Council on Higher Education Management (CHEMA) which serves the leadership of 30+ associations on the business side of colleges and universities. At the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) Mundt established the first ever teacher scholarships for identifying and serving students from low-income settings. The program brought in significant foundation funding and also marked the largest program for individual member donations in the history of NAGC. His leadership in the field of board diversity began at the Association of Governing Boards of Colleges and Universities (AGB) and ultimately resulted in a significant program of work diversifying board leadership at the American Alliance of Museums (AAM). Brent began his career with Fairmont Hotels in New Orleans and San Francisco, and eventually moved to their national sales office in Washington, D.C. His move to the nation's capital became the impetus for his bridging over to a very successful career in association management.
