Katie Sumpton

Katie started her search career with a global firm, focussing on Board and CEO appointments in the financial services, property and infrastructure industries. She also led the CFO practice, with a particular focus on Chair of Audit and Risk appointments.

Over the past 20 years she has worked extensively with boards and senior executives, advising on their most challenging issues around strategy, culture, organisation and people.

Prior to this she had a global career with Booz & Company based in Sydney, New York and Dubai. She specialised in advising major financial institutions on strategy formulation, organisation design and development and execution of strategy-based transformation.

Katie has an MBA from Harvard Business School; a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and the University Medal from University of Sydney where she was a Chancellor’s Scholar; and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance, Marketing), also from University of Sydney.
