Volker Dahm studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Stuttgart and graduated with a degree in engineering. He also holds an MBA from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management. His many years of experience in the technical environment of project (logistics) and sales have been shaped by various professional positions at Trumpf in Ditzingen, GEZE in Leonberg, MAHLE in Stuttgart, and MODINE in Filderstadt. Subsequently, as a proven expert in the complex field of IT and traditional manufacturing of sophisticated, high-tech components, he founded a company in Leipzig specializing in series production automation. He built and developed this company and successfully sold it to INFICON. After completing the transition phase and business development, he founded another company in the SAP consulting sector, focusing on technical production solutions. Leveraging this experience, he established a further company in the USA and successfully transferred it through a management buyout (MBI). Mr. Dahm understands the challenges and needs of founders, knows the interaction with stakeholders of externally financed companies and the associated requirements. Furthermore, he is considered an expert in personnel selection and recruitment for high-growth companies in start-up and early stage phases. His expertise in the automotive sector, the series production of high-tech components with correspondingly high-performance (SAP) IT environments, makes him a sought-after contact person for companies worth investing in in the relevant business fields.
