In 1991, Arlinde graduated from the Arts Faculty of Leiden University. She started her career in 1992 at ABN AMRO subsidiary Finata Bank, later InterBank. Since 2006 she has held statutory management positions there, both as director of Commerce and in the role of director of Operations. Since 2010 she has been active as Operations Director at BNP Paribas subsidiary Laser, where she was closely involved in current issues such as outsourcing, restructuring and the sale of organizational units. In addition, she has been a board member of the trade association VFN since 2006. Arlinde has been associated with TEN since the beginning of 2015, where the financial sector, the charity sector and the healthcare sector have her specific attention. The human being, and more particularly the relationship between people, is what drives Arlinde deeply. She is convinced that organizations flourish with a balanced team of people. She is therefore intrigued by, and constantly looking for, the successful composition. Diversity rather than cloning, exploiting strengths rather than improving weaknesses, asking questions rather than expressing opinions. Her many years of experience as a director in the financial sector means that she can place the human factor in the current context.
