Born and raised in Dortmund, Volker Schreiner studied mechanical engineering with a focus on materials science at the University of Dortmund and the University of Applied Sciences Dortmund. He began his professional career as a project and commissioning engineer for steel mills at Mannesmann Demag Hüttentechnik. In all his other positions as plant or operations manager at international manufacturing companies in the field of metal production and processing, his main focus was on analyzing and optimizing production processes, managing and training employees, creative approaches to developing proposed solutions, and developing programs for cost reduction and quality improvement. His leadership style is characterized by open and trusting cooperation with the management and the subordinate departments. Since 2016, Mr. Schreiner has been successfully working as an interim manager for international companies. Mr. Schreiner has been an Associate Partner at F&P Executive Solutions AG since October 2020 and a Partner since the end of August 2021. Besides his family, his private interests include cycling and dancing.
