Lawrence Montgomery, IV is a partner in the Assurance Services division of the Firm’s Philadelphia office. He works closely with both publicly-held and privately owned businesses. He has experience providing SEC compliance and reporting services, consulting, and due diligence services for merger and acquisition transactions. Lawrence is often involved in providing companies assistance with complex technical accounting issues and works primarily with clients in a wide variety of industries including manufacturing and distribution, service, contractors, transportation and financial services.

Lawrence is a member of the firm’s national Audit Efficiency Committee and Revenue Recognition SEC Task Force Committee. He is also the co-editor of SEC Insights, the firm’s monthly online publication that covers current issues and events in the public marketplace.

In addition, he has extensive experience using IDEA data extraction software which assists in improving the efficiency and quality of assurance engagements. He also is involved in preparing presentations and instructing internal CPE courses at the firm.
