Heather brings more than 12 years of experience in executive search to the team at Focus Search Partners. She has spent over a decade in the Healthcare and Private Equity Retained Search space. Heather is seen as a trusted human capital partner, advisor, and recruiter to private equity investors of high-growth companies. Over the years, she has partnered with several leading private equity firms on C-level and other high-impact placements for their portfolio companies. Heather is committed to finding Rockstar leaders for her clients. Heather comes from an extended family of doctors, giving her a unique and in-depth understanding of challenges healthcare businesses face. Much of Heather’s healthcare experience has been focused on healthcare services and behavioral health businesses. Prior to specializing in healthcare, Heather’s broad executive search experience included lower and middle-market PE-backed businesses in industrial, consumer, and healthcare services. Heather is certified in DISC, which she incorporates into the selection process. Heather had a diversified background before her executive search tenure; she spent sixteen years in management consulting for Fiserv and Robert Half in national leadership roles. Her management consulting background gives her insights to optimize business operations and a keen understanding of value creation. Heather can triage the businesses hiring needs and attract and recruit the right-fit executive leaders to impact business KPI’s. Heather is a Texas native who graduated from the University of Texas with a BBA. Heather and her husband, Brett, live in Dallas, and you can find them spending time with her children, Brooke and Conner, and their crazy Goldendoodle Oliver. Heather is active in her community, including a committee member of Women in ACG Dallas/Fort Worth and the National Charity League with her daughter, Brooke. Heather integrates her core values into every aspect of her professional and personal life. She cares deeply about health (her own and others), and if she is not spending time with family running from one sporting event to another, you can find her practicing Pilates, yoga, and cycling. She loves hiking and drags her family to a National Park every summer; her bucket list keeps growing.
