Lorette is a partner at VALPEO in South Africa and has committed herself to understanding the fit between people and the contexts in which they can thrive and become the best versions of themselves. With over 20 years of experience across psychological assessment, leadership development, and organisational transformation, Lorette has worked with clients across Africa, Europe, Middle-East, Asia, and the United States. Her early research focused on Psychological Capital, laying the foundation for her interest in what enables people to grow, adapt, and lead with authenticity. She has held roles in both consulting and business development, with a strong track record in growing international partnerships and delivering leadership solutions that are both scalable and deeply human. She aims to actively grow the local footprint of the methodology and helping shape the future of leadership on the continent. In addition to her consulting work, she lectures part-time in leadership, where she brings real-world insight and a systemic perspective into the academic and hospitality space. Lorette holds a Master’s degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology (Cum Laude) and is a registered psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa. Outside of work, she performs in orchestras as a flautist and enjoys long-distance hiking — always curious, always evolving.
