Gavin has been working in executive search for the last 13 years, having previously spent 10 years in international and local marketing roles at Unilever. He has worked extensively with large corporations but also with scale up and private equity backed businesses. Company leadership positions as well as marketing, digital, sales or P&L management have been his focus. Gavin has built an understanding of the customer and commercial talent in these areas across the UK / Europe that is second to none, and has frequently facilitated challenging cross-sector moves. In addition to his expertise, clients value Gavin’s high level of engagement with their business and absolute determination to secure the best possible talent. Prior to joining August Leadership, Gavin co-led a boutique executive search firm based in London. While there he developed a passion for understanding leadership and how it drives performance, becoming a qualified Hogan practitioner in 2017. He has also become a well-regarded member of the senior marketing and customer leadership community. Outside work, attempting to manage 3 teenage children, some sport and a social life keeps him busy.
