I am co-founder and managing partner of &deBlauw. I was born in Groningen and later studied in Utrecht to become a HR Manager with a focus on change management. Since 2004 I have worked as a consultant in our industry and have held various management positions. In 2017, Iwan and I decided to become professional partners. Sharing the same vision, but differing strongly in personality, we complement each other perfectly. In addition, we both want to provide our clients with real added value. The result is an excellent, pleasant and fruitful collaboration. Within &deBlauw I focus on management and executive positions, preferably in physical sectors. I enjoy living in Rotterdam, together with my wife Juliette and son Otto. In addition to family time, I find relaxation in walking our dog, sports cycling and in one of the many gastronomic delights of the city (and subsequently compensating for this in the gym!). My focus is on board and executive positions within the maritime and energy sectors as well as the manufacturing industry. These markets appeal to my imagination, involving as they do assets and tangible environments.
