I have a degree in business administration and am a generalist HR manager with over 30 years of experience in international HR management. After starting my HR career at Nixdorf, I spent most of my career in a variety of exciting HR roles at Shell in Germany, Scotland and the Netherlands. I was employed as refinery HR manager, HR transition manager, head of HR development, HR manager mergers, acquisitions & divestments and as global HR manager with responsibility for employees in more than 80 countries. My HR expertise lies primarily in the areas of talent management, personnel and organizational development, employer branding, recruitment, the management of HR activities in large portfolio deals including pension valuation, carve-out design, post-merger integration and change management. I am married, have two grown-up daughters and live in Bargteheide near Hamburg. In my free time I play table tennis and golf.
