Biography
Megan Lewis joined Kittleman & Associates in 2008. In her role as Principal, Megan collaborates with clients in managing all aspects of the search process for CEO and senior-level management searches. She works directly with clients across a wide range of sectors including science museums, foundations, conservation and wildlife organizations, and social services agencies. Prior to her role as Principal, Megan served as an Associate and Senior Associate at Kittleman. She completed nearly 100 searches for CEOs and senior executives during her tenure. In addition to her roles at Kittleman, Megan served as the Director of the Network of Nonprofit Search Consultants (www.nnsc.org) from 2004 to 2016. NNSC, a professional association comprised of some of the country’s leading nonprofit executive search practitioners, provides a forum for the development of best industry practices. She now enjoys membership in the group and serves on the Executive Committee. Megan also brings a significant business background to Kittleman. She was a Registered Client Associate with Merrill Lynch serving on one of the most successful broker teams in Chicago. She was Series 7, 62 and 63 registered and was regularly acknowledged for her exceptional service to clients. Earlier in her career, Megan was a Store Manager for Talbots in the Chicago market. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia in Marketing and Management. Megan has held significant volunteer leadership roles with local nonprofits and has served on multiple search committees. She is an active member of Women Leaders in Philanthropy in partnership with the Oak Park River Forest Community Foundation (OPRFCF) and is a graduate of the Community Leadership Program, a collaboration of the Brennan School of Business at Dominican University and the OPRFCF.
