Mary Powell Boney

Mary Powell Boney found her passion for recruiting unexpectedly but quickly fell in love with the fast-paced and people-focused nature of the industry. A graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Global Studies, she began her career recruiting across industries such as fashion, beauty, finance, and technology before joining Career Group Companies. Mary Powell thrives on building meaningful connections, helping candidates find opportunities that align with their skills and aspirations, and supporting clients in assembling top-tier teams. She believes that a single conversation with a recruiter can shape a career trajectory and encourages job seekers to start broad before honing in on their goals. With a keen eye for skill, communication, and individuality, she approaches every search with a personalized touch. Beyond recruiting, you can find her traveling, reading, writing, exploring new restaurants or taking walks along the West Side Highway.
