Biography
Børge is Managing Director for the board and executive search practice at Prospectus, which offers dedicated solutions to identifying and engaging talented leaders, building diverse Boards and Leadership Teams. The practice consists of three specialist areas; Board Appointments, Global Search and UK Search. The practice delivers impactful appointments for clients globally including foundations and NGOs, social enterprises, charities, grant makers and membership organisations. Børge has successfully delivered complex senior leadership and board appointments, including chief executives and chairs, often working with clients on multiple mandates over several years. He brings in-depth knowledge of the charity and beyond profit sectors, including the many and multifaceted leadership challenges. Børge is currently a Governor of Dania, the Scandinavian School in London; he regularly hosts roundtable discussions on interesting sector topics to support social impact, and enjoys connecting people beyond search mandates. He is also the board lead for inclusion at Prospectus, championing initiatives to build more diversity and inclusion internally as well as supporting clients to achieve their diversity and inclusion ambitions. Before Prospectus, Børge started his career as a journalist, and he also worked on several election campaigns in Norway. He read Politics at Norway’s Arctic University in Tromsø, and has an MSc in International Relations from Bristol University. He has also lived and studied in the Unites States. Børge believes that business is part of the solution to build a more sustainable society, and is really proud of Prospectus' B-Corp status and active commitment to be part of a community using business for good.
