Femke is a HR qualified, Principal Consultant and has been sourcing the very best fundraising talent for a wide range of organisations over the past seven years. She really enjoys the collaborative work her role allows her to do with hiring managers across the sector and the access her position gives her to learning more about a wide variety of important causes. Femke’s track record includes multiple appointments at The Big Give, Start Network, Barnardo’s, Girls’ Day School Trust, London Business School, Aberystwyth University and others. Femke feels particularly motivated to support the environmental sector. She believes the climate crisis is the urgent overarching issue of our time. Femke has had the pleasure of partnering with some fantastic organisations to recruit fundraising leaders, such as Global Green Grants Fund, Client Earth, Carbon Disclosure Project, The Ramblers, Galapagos Conservation Trust, The Felix Project, regional Wildlife Trusts and more. Femke also has a passion for youth-focused organisations and has volunteered for various projects with groups like Mind, the HENRY Project, and Free To Be Kids. She also played a key role in our GDPR project and is an active member of our Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion group. Femke lives in a rural town in Wales and, when not speaking with our wonderful clients and candidates, you will find her getting involved with local community projects, exercising her green fingers in the veg garden, or roaming the nearby hills with her two collies, Bes and Bella.
