Biography
Since joining Isaacson, Miller in 2014, Courtney has worked on a number of searches in higher education, academic medicine, and arts and culture, including the searches that placed UC Berkeley’s first female chancellor and the University of Southern California’s first female president. Her other notable searches include liberal arts college presidencies at Pitzer College and Occidental College, the executive director at the San Francisco Symphony, and the vice chancellor for health affairs (among many other placements) at UC Irvine Health. Previously, Courtney was the assistant director of undergraduate admissions at the University of Southern California. In that role, she recruited and reviewed applicants from around the country. Courtney, who has worked on several projects for the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Initiative, brings a detail-oriented approach and a spirit of continuous growth and improvement to her work. Outside of the office, she is actively involved with Circle of Friends, a social inclusion program for people with special needs.
