Monte Singh is an audit partner in Marcum’s New York offices, responsible for the planning and supervision of accounting, audit and due diligence for closely held companies. In addition, he is a member of the Firm’s SEC Practice Group, providing audit services and quarterly reviews to publicly traded domestic and international clients. As a member of the Firm’s national Assurance Efficiency Committee, Mr. Singh oversees a variety of client engagement teams, in order to continuously improve audit processes. Under his direction, clients have seen greater efficiency in their engagements. In addition, Mr. Singh is a member of the Firm’s national Food & Beverage Services Group. Mr. Singh has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and accounting and auditing, with an expertise in financial statement preparation, compliance and planning, budgeting and forecasting, as well as litigation support. Through the years, Mr. Singh has assisted clients in a variety of industries, including distribution (wholesale and retail), food & beverage, online and offline direct marketing and media services, commercial printing, pharmaceuticals, medical products and equipment, healthcare, real estate, software development, entertainment, and automobile dealerships. For the manufacturing industry, he has provided financial guidance for companies involved with consumer products, lenses and filters for cinematography, sports apparel, electrical components and systems for the U.S military and specialty industrial markets, high voltage supplies, retail security packaging, candy products, disposable hospital supplies, and generic pharmaceuticals.
