Ben specialises in searches for C-suite and finance professionals for Venture Capital backed businesses and high growth SME’s. His predominate sector focus includes technology, fin-tech and consumer goods. Ben has an established record in delivering senior finance leaders to early-stage businesses that are looking to scale. His proactive and consultative approach has enabled him to build an extensive network among candidates in the Venture Capital and start-up space. Originally from South Wales, Ben moved to London to study Ancient History at King’s College London. Upon completing his degree, Ben joined a boutique finance search firm - Harper May, as a graduate and helped to set-up the executive search function. After several years with the firm, he was promoted to lead their Venture Capital Practice. Ben joined Altus Portfolio Practice in 2020, to expand Altus Partners coverage in Venture Capital-backed businesses. Being from Wales, Ben is an avid rugby fan, along with football and many other sports. In his spare time, he enjoys reading Greek mythology, going to music gigs and spending time at the nearest Karaoke bar.
