Martin Tjan is the managing partner of JP contagi GmbH based in Düsseldorf. He has been in the direct search for executives since 2004 and fills management positions in Europe and Asia. His customers are SMEs and corporations from the D/A/CH region. In addition, Martin advises Chinese companies on their globalization strategies. Martin lived and worked in China for eight years, most recently in the JP contagi office in Shanghai. He holds a Masters in East Asian Studies from the University of Duisburg-Essen and the Shanghai East China Normal University. In addition to his native German, Martin speaks English and is familiar with Mandarin Chinese and Bahasa Indonesia. Martin Tjan is married and father of two children. The family lives in Dusseldorf.
