Amble Ryan joined Isaacson, Miller in 2021 as a Senior Associate. He works on searches for leadership positions across higher education and the nonprofit sector with a focus on functional roles such as those in finance and operations.

Prior to joining the firm, Amble spent over five years at Wellesley College Career Education, most recently as the Associate Director for Career Exploration & Advising, and before that as the Advisor for Education, Nonprofit & Social Impact. Earlier experience spanned the urban and environmental planning sphere, during which time Amble engaged in community-based work and research relating to creative climate change adaptation, sustainability planning, and economic development. Amble's background spanning student affairs and urban planning affords them a unique skillset including Appreciative Advising, facilitation and participatory practices, and social impact design.

Amble hold a Master of Urban Planning degree from the University of Michigan and a BA from Smith College, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Social Innovation Design from the University of Pennsylvania.
