Jessica Volkwein joined the Munich office of LAB & Company as principal in 2012. She became a Partner in 2015 and is Managing Partner since 2019. She learned about the personnel consulting business from scratch with our founding partner Peter Lachner. Before returning to LAB & Company, she worked for 18 years as a personnel consultant at two other leading international executive search firms. Jessica Volkwein specialises in the industrial sector, and for over 20 years primarily in the automotive sector. Her specialty is filling management positions in the operational and technology environment of internationally operating and large family-owned companies. Her success is characterised by many years of cooperation and her personal accountablility for each individual project. In selecting the best managers and executives, she pays particular attention to the “cultural fit”. Her clients particularly appreciate her ability to assess a candidate’s classical competencies and personality. In the last years, Jessica Volkwein has been considerably involved with the topic of electromobility and has built up an extensive network and know-how in this field as well. Since 2017, she has also been Head of Practice Group Automotive within our international Penrhyn network. She is married, has a daughter, is often outdoors with her golden retriever and her family, and enjoys sports. Jessica Volkwein is certified to deploy Hogan Assessment Systems.
