DEBRA IS A PARTNER AT SHELDON HARRIS, JOINING IN 2012. With over 20 years’ experience in Executive Search and Assessment, Debra advises her clients on leadership and succession planning, with a specific focus on Board and C-suite appointments and assessments. Debra’s clients include publicly listed and private companies across Asia Pacific, as well as government-owned enterprises. Prior to joining Sheldon Harris Consulting, Debra was a Partner at Russell Reynolds Associates. Previously, Debra served as an independent management consultant in the technology industry, assisting clients in bringing their technology strategies to fruition. Prior to her consulting career, Debra was General Manager, Customer Service and Quality with Telstra Corporation and had a 12-year career with IBM Australia Limited, where she served in a variety of sales, management, technical support and human resources roles. Debra took a sabbatical in 2011, living and working in Malawi, volunteering for The Hunger Project in Africa, and assisting the organisation to improve their operational effectiveness in working towards their goal of ending hunger and poverty. Debra continues her non-profit work for The Hunger Project as a serving Director on its National Board as well as being a member of their Victorian Development Board. She was also Chair of the Human Resources Subcommittee for the Salvation Army Advisory Board. Debra holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Computer Science) from RMIT University, and a Graduate Diploma of Organisational Coaching from Swinburne.
