Arild has been recruiting leaders and specialists for over 20 years and building top sports culture for over ten. His experience in creating strong teams with a common direction, complementary skills and room to challenge each other, as well as his analytical eye and understanding of numbers, have contributed to satisfied clients and candidates – and to Olympic gold. He has helped a number of different companies in a wide range of industries, including energy, FMCG, IT/telecom, finance, industry and various expertise companies, recruit managers and specialists. He now lives in Bergen, but has worked throughout the country. Arild is a certified user of the MAP and Matrigma test tools, among others. He holds a Master of Science in Economics from NHH and a CEMS Master in International Management from NHH/University of Cologne. After his studies, he became a consultant at McKinsey & Co. In 1999, he began working in recruitment. First at Delphi Consulting and the Korn/Ferry company Futurestep and from 2007 as a partner at Bønes Virik. Arild was president of the Norwegian Triathlon Association from 2010-2021. He has been deputy chairman of the board of SK Brann since March 2022.
