Chris has been recruiting CEOs and their direct reports for technology and technology-enabled services companies for over 20 years. The vast majority of his clients are investor-backed or investor owned and he currently serves as a retained operating advisor to a prominent private equity firm, consulting on all things human capital related. He is also a member of Lantern’s Information Officers practice as he has recruited senior information technology officers for the consumer products, industrial, business services and financial services sectors. Prior to starting Lantern Partners in January 2003, he was a partner at one of the world’s largest senior executive recruiting firms, serving as a partner in the global technology practice. Chris began his career in executive recruitment at another global recruitment firm as a principal. Chris is a founding partner and serves on the Board of Directors of Social Venture Partners Chicago and also serves on the board of directors for The Illinois Technology Association. He is an avid fly fisherman and outdoorsman, and spends as much time as possible in Montana. He lives in Wilmette, IL with his wife Jenny, their three boys Henry, Charles, and Edward, and their two dogs George and Griff.
