Biography
Frans studied Social & Organisational, and Clinical & Health Psychology and started his early career as a clinical psychologist. In 2009 he took over the family owned company Hoek Consultants to follow his passion for building healthier organisations as a practitioner. Frans interests mainly focus around: the DNA of organisations, Strategic HRM (e.g. Workforce Planning, Talent Roadmaps), succession planning, Executive Coaching and Outplacement, leadership development questions, Executive Search and dysfunctional processes in organisations.
In the past Frans has set up new businesses and offices in an international environment for stock listed companies. He changed companies, offices and management teams into successful and well organized teams, motivated people and sales teams to create the best results. Frans held different Management and Director Positions at several companies. His last two positions were Leadership in Action Program Manager at Unilever and Managing Director at Michael Page International. He holds an MBA, and also studied Law and Art History. Frans is specialized in Leadership Development/Action Planning, Strategic HRM, Change, Executive Search, Executive Coaching and Learning. In 2013 & 2014 Frans studied in Oxford (Diploma in Organisational Leadership - Said Business School) and Cambridge (Advanced Leadership Programme- Judge Business School). In 2015 and 2016 he studied at Ashridge Business School (MSc in Executive Coaching Programme (AMEC). He is Ashridge Accredited Executive Coach / EMCC Senior Practitioner. In 2017 he completed Systemic Coaching at the Bert Hellinger Instituut in Groningen. In 2017 he also attended the High Performance Leadership Programme at IMD. In 2018 and 2019 Frans participated in the Comenius European Leadership Course. In 2019 and 2020 he was trained to be a Supervisor, and in March 2021 he completed the Accreditation for the Postgraduate Diploma in Organizational Supervision at Ashridge Business School (ADOS).
