Somya Bouzaggou has a background in International Business and has been committed to promoting diversity & inclusion within a wide variety of organizations for over 15 years. In 2017, Somya founded Diversiteitsscan.nl, helping numerous organizations in the public sector and in the business community to identify, guide (in their careers) and train future leaders with a bicultural background. With Diversiteitsscan.nl, Somya also provides baseline measurements to measure demographics and inclusion within an organization and provides customized inclusion training. The distinctive feature of Diversiteitsscan.nl is the use of an interdisciplinary approach to achieving objectives such as evidence-based research, employer branding, and the smart use of data. In addition, she has been affiliated with the 'Lectorship Diversity Issues' of the Inholland University of Applied Sciences as a researcher for over 5 years. Somya conducts research into increasing equal opportunities in (vmbo, mbo, hbo) education and provides inclusivity training to teachers. Somya is also vice-chair of the board of Worldconnectors. This is an association consisting of politicians and stakeholders from various large public and private companies that organize themselves around the Sustainable Development Goals.
