Shella joined True to launch the Beauty, Fashion and Lifestyle practice and currently co-leads the CEO/BOD practice. As the consumer landscape is rapidly shifting, Shella’s main focus is working with dynamic, progressive and best-in-class talent to help propel these companies to the next level. With over 15 years of executive search experience, Shella spent the bulk of her career at Heidrick & Struggles, initially as a member of the digital media, entertainment and sports practice before transitioning to the retail, fashion and luxury practice. Her professional career began as a consultant at Deloitte and Touche LLP in the transfer pricing division, where she analyzed and resolved international tax and finance issues faced by multinational corporations. Shella is a graduate of the University of Chicago where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in public policy. She is fluent in Korean and is based in the firm’s New York office.
