Duncan is a partner in True's EMEA office, working with businesses in the consumer, media and technology sectors placing senior go-to-market professionals across EMEA. Prior to True, Duncan was head of international talent acquisition at OpenTable, where he oversaw all hiring across EMEA and APAC during a period of significant growth almost doubling employee numbers. Previously he led recruitment for EMEA and LATAM at BlackBerry. As well as a background in technology search going back to the mid 1990's, Duncan also co-founded and exited a successful mobile voice recording business for the investment banking market. Duncan lived in Amsterdam for a while recruiting for the European tech space. He is married to Lenka who is an english teacher and they have a five year old daughter. Duncan is a semi-retired rugby player, occasionally dusting the boots off for a game and spending weeks recovering.
