Gilbert started his career in public accounting focusing on financial audit and risk assurance. He transitioned to working for a family-owned manufacturing company where his talents were used not only in routine internal accounting functions, but also to create forecasting tools, teach classes in finance/accounting/business acumen, implement financial reporting tools and many other specialty projects.
